Alex has been with the Grady Trauma Project since 2013, and he currently works as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Moms and Kids Study. Alex holds a B.A. in French and a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor and holds national board certification from the NBCC. Alex has a small private practice, operating in Inman Park and Buckhead, where he specializes in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety disorders. His research examines the developmental sequelae of early childhood trauma, particularly from the perspective of the relationship between trauma exposure and heart rate variability. Alex is bilingual in English and French and enjoys yoga, camping, playing music, and spending time with his corgi, Rory.
