Aimee currently works as a Research Specialist for the Grady Trauma Project. She has been working primarily on the Trauma Exposure & Stress Response in Mothers and Children (Moms & Kids) study, and the Critical Periods in Brain Development study, since January 2017. Aimee graduated with a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside in 2012 and moved to Atlanta shortly after. Aimee is also a Master of Social Work Candidate at the University of Georgia, with a particular interest in social policy. At GTP, Aimee is especially interested in studying youth perceptions of their psychiatric diagnoses and medication status. In her free time, Aimee enjoys hiking, weaving, and spending time with her husband, puppy, and two cats.
