Anna currently works as the Volunteer Coordinator and Clinical Research Interviewer for Grady Trauma Project. She began this position in May 2017 after serving as a long-term volunteer and screener with the project. Anna graduated with a B.A. from Emory University, and double majored in Psychology and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. While at Emory, she completed a senior honors thesis in Psychology, in which she used qualitative and quantitative methods to investigate conceptualizations of trauma in the Grady population. Anna is particularly interested in narratives of trauma, and how the use of both qualitative and quantitative narrative methodologies can provide unique insight into experiences of trauma in underrepresented, underresearched and historically disempowered populations. In her free time, Anna can be found hiking around Georgia, discovering new coffee shops, and playing scrabble with a cup of tea in hand.
